How do I adopt a Water Dog?
Browse our available Water Dogs, choose the one you love, and click "Bring Me Home." Complete checkout, and we'll handle the rest!
Can I reserve a Water Dog?
Water Dogs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you complete checkout, your Water Dog is reserved for you. If a fish you love is already adopted, join our waitlist to be notified when new ones arrive.
What's included with my adoption?
Every adoption includes your Water Dog, a personalized adoption certificate, a comprehensive care guide, and our live arrival guarantee.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the continental United States only.
When do you ship?
We ship Monday through Wednesday only to avoid weekend transit delays. Orders are processed within 1-2 business days.
How are the fish shipped?
Every Water Dog is shipped via overnight delivery in temperature-controlled, oxygen-supplied packaging designed specifically for live aquatic animals.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes! You'll receive a tracking link by email once your order ships.
Returns & Guarantees
Do you accept returns?
Because we ship live animals, all sales are final and we do not accept returns. However, every adoption is backed by our Live Arrival Guarantee.
What is the Live Arrival Guarantee?
If your Water Dog does not arrive alive and healthy, send us a clear photo within 2 hours of delivery and we'll arrange a replacement or full refund. See our full policy for details.
Care
What do I need before my Water Dog arrives?
You'll need at least a 30-gallon tank, a filter, and properly cycled water at 65-72°F (18-22°C). Check our Care Guide for complete setup instructions.
